World Indigenous Cancer Conference 2026
20 – 24 April 2026 | Rotorua, New Zealand
He Āhuru Mōwai, the host organisation and the World Indigenous Cancer Conference 2026 Scientifc Committee invite Indigenous researchers, health professionals, policy makers, community leaders, practitioners, and advocates from across the globe to submit abstracts for presentation at the World Indigenous Cancer Conference (W.I.C.C) 2026.
Held in the cultural heart of New Zealand, W.I.C.C 2026 will create space for connection, challenge, and change. It is a platform to elevate Indigenous knowledge, leadership, research, lived experience, and practice to improve cancer outcomes for Indigenous peoples everywhere.
This is your opportunity to share your work, your story, and your solutions. We welcome presentations grounded in Indigenous worldviews, science, healing, and action.
Key Dates
- Abstract submissions open: 24 June 2025
- Abstract submissions close: 29 August 2025
- Notification of acceptance: 26 September 2025
- Conference dates: 20 – 24 April 2026
Presentation Types
- Oral Presentations – 15 minutes
- Posters - displayed throughout the conference and a dedicated Q&A session within the programme
- Keynote Presentation - for invited keynote speakers
Submit Your Abstract
You will need to login to access the submission portal - this is an easy process of providing an email address and password.
Once you are into the portal you will be guided to enter your abstract details, presentation type, and contact information.
