Course preparation, assessment and awards |
What preparation is required?
Course materials are sent to you as pre-reading preparation approximately six weeks before the commencement of the course. Pre-reading is estimated at 40-60 plus hours across the whole course. Materials become a valuable reference document both during the course, in preparation for assessment and throughout the next few years as a director.
Assessment
The assessment is comprised of three tasks: quiz, exam and assignment. All three tasks must be successfully completed with a pass mark of 65% to achieve the Company Directors Course™ award. Group skype calls will be set up after the course to support you through the assessment process.
Timeline
All assessment tasks, including any required re-sits, must be completed within three months of the last day of the course.
What is involved with the assessment?
Course attendance plus successful completion of the assessment tasks will quality you for the Company Directors Course award and an additional 10 DPD units. Participants are also eligible to upgrade their membership to GAICD status. See the AICD website for additional eligibility criteria.
