Terms and conditions of payment, participation and cancellation
- In the event you need to withdraw from the program, 100% of the course and 100% of accommodation costs will be refunded if Women in Focus is notified before 5.00pm Monday 31 August 2020 ($8318.90 inc. GST)
- The cost of the course and the accommodation (100%) will not be refunded after 5.00pm Monday 31 August 2020 ($0)
- 10 people are needed in order for Women in Focus to proceed with this course package. Women in Focus reserves the right to cancel the course by Wednesday 2 September 2020 if numbers are not met.
- In the event that participants are unable to attend the course in person due to COVID-19 restrictions, Women in Focus and AICD reserves the right to deliver course digitally or through alternate methods. Participants will be notified of this change by Friday 28 August.
- AICD Course is delivered by AICD and on confirmation of your payment, Women in Focus will provide your contact details to AICD to enable them to fulfil the course and provide pre-reading material.
- Women in Focus and the Commonwealth Bank are not liable in the event that the outcome or expectations of participants regarding participation in the AICD Course are not met.
- Unless expressly stated all other expenses including flights to and from the event, travel insurance, all government and airport taxes, passports, visas, transfers to and from departure points, spending money, meals (not specified in the course), beverages, additional nights’ accommodation and insurance will be the sole responsibility of each participant.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and its related entities and its and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents, will not be liable for any personal injury, loss or damage, whatsoever which is suffered or sustained (including, but not limited to indirect or consequential, financial or other loss) to or by a participant.
- Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, The Commonwealth Bank of Australia (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference.
- The Program is subject to the terms and conditions of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Company Directors Course™ in addition to booking, accommodation, carriage and use of any suppliers
