You are invited to register for the SME Conference on Friday 16 March 2018 in Sydney.

Who should attend the SME Conference

Australian small-and-medium-sized enterprises who are, or are considering, exporting to ASEAN.
The SME Conference is a dedicated event of the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit 2018 which will involve Leaders and CEOs from across ASEAN and Australia.

Why attend the SME Conference

Delegates who attend the SME Conference will have a unique opportunity to tap into expertise and obtain advice from regional specialists, business leaders and successful exporters brought together to share their knowledge and insights.

Alongside the SME Conference, there will be an information centre called The Marketplace, where delegates can receive tailored and practical advice about getting started or expanding in ASEAN from government agencies, peak industry bodies and trade promotion offices.

This event is free to attend. Travel and accommodation will be on a self-funded basis.

Follow these two steps to register:

Step one

What you need to know

Registration closes on Wednesday 21 February 2018. However, it will close before this date if seating capacity is reached.

Registering your expression of interest to attend the SME Conference does not mean you are a conference delegate. Once submitted, your registration will be considered and you will be informed if you can progress to accreditation.

Step two - subject to completion of step one

If you have been advised your expression of interest has been successful, you will receive a link to an accreditation portal where you can accredit.

What you need to know

To support the security arrangements at ASEAN-Australia Special Summit 2018, all officials and other invited participants will be subject to security screening on entry to the SME Conference. Accreditation passes issued by the Taskforce will control all access to meetings. The venue and meetings will be accessible only to officials and other invited participants who hold the appropriate accreditation.
