Privacy Notice
The Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) collects your personal information including your email address and telephone number. The purposes of collecting this information are to process and administer your registration and attendance at the event, to manage our relationship with you, and; unless you tell us not to, to contact you to discuss products or services that may be of interest to you. If we do not collect these details from you, we may not be able to register you for the event.
When you give us personal information about another person you represent that you are authorised to do so and agree to inform the person that CBA has collected their information as part of this event registration and of the contents of these Event Terms and Conditions.
CBA may share details such as your name, contact details and any dietary requirements with third parties engaged to assist with producing the event. These third-party services may include the venue, hotel or catering company, travel agency, event production company, ticketing agent or web streaming service. Where you share Sensitive Personal Information in relation to the event (e.g. health information), you provide consent to CBA collecting, using and disclosing this Sensitive Personal Information for the purposes of the event. You have the right to withdraw this consent, but doing so may mean we are not able to meet your stipulated dietary or accessibility requirement. You can do this by contacting clientevents@cba.com.au.
For selected events, CBA may use Stova to manage event attendance and to provide attendees with networking opportunities. Stova may display your name, company and image to other event attendees, and provide other attendees with the ability to send you messages via an event app; no contact information will be provided to other event attendees.
If you wish to access or correct your event registration details, please direct your request to clientevents@cba.com.au. If you would like more information about how CBA handles your personal information or if you would like to make a privacy complaint, please refer to CBA's Group Privacy Statement (available on our website). The Group Privacy Statement also sets out the circumstances when we might disclose your personal information overseas.
For those located outside Australia/NZ
If you wish to exercise privacy-related rights concerning your data (for example, if you wish to restrict processing of certain personal data), please contact clientevents@cba.com.au with your request. A list of individual privacy rights that may apply to you is available on CBA’s Group Privacy Statement. For any further information on how the Group handles your personal data, our Data Protection Officer contacts (as applicable), or if you wish to make a privacy related complaint, please visit CBA’s Group Privacy Statement. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority/Privacy Regulator. Where appropriate, we have included information about relevant Data Protection Authorities in CBA’s Group Privacy Statement.
