Privacy Notice

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) collects your personal information including your email address and telephone number. The purposes of collecting this information are to process and administer your registration and attendance at the event, to manage our relationship with you, and; unless you tell us not to, to contact you to discuss products or services that may be of interest to you. If we do not collect these details from you, we may not be able to register you for the event.

When you give us personal information about another person you represent that you are authorised to do so and agree to inform the person that CBA has collected their information as part of this event registration and of the contents of these Event Attendee Terms.

CBA may share details such as your name, contact details and any dietary requirements with third parties engaged to assist with producing the event. These third party services may include the venue, hotel or catering company, travel agency, event production company, ticketing agent or web streaming service.

For selected events, CBA may use Stova to manage event attendance and to provide attendees with networking opportunities. Stova may display your name, company and image to other event attendees, and provide other attendees with the ability to send you messages via an event app; no contact information will be provided to other event attendees.

If you wish to access or correct your event registration details please direct your request to clientevents@cba.com.au. If you would like more information about how CBA handles your personal information or if you would like to make a privacy complaint, please refer to the CBA Privacy Policy (available on our website). The privacy policy also sets out the circumstances when we might disclose your personal information to persons who are overseas and where those people are likely to be located.

For those located outside Australia/NZ

If you wish to exercise privacy related rights concerning your data (for example, if you wish to restrict processing of certain personal data), please contact clientevents@cba.com.au with your request. A list of individual privacy rights that may apply to you is available in Appendix 1 of our CBA Privacy Policy. Terms and Conditions

By agreeing to these Event Attendee Terms, you confirm that CBA can use your contact details to communicate with you in matters relating to this event. This may include providing you with updates, reminders and an opportunity to share your thoughts on the event.

CBA may have photographers and videographers at the event. You consent to being filmed, recorded (by sound, video, image or otherwise) and photographed as an attendee of the event, and consent to its use by CBA anywhere in the world for promotional purposes, via any media platform.

CBA does not take responsibility for any goods, services and other benefits you may receive in relation to the event. You acknowledge it is your responsibility to comply with your organisation’s gifts & entertainment policies, and will seek further advice from your organisation regarding your attendance if necessary.

You are attending the event at your own risk. CBA is not responsible for any harm or loss unless caused by the wilful act or negligence of CBA’s staff, agents or sub-contractors.

CBA reserves the right to refuse entry to any person for any reason.
