The SAFCA Confrence 2021, will be held at the prestigious Adelaide Convention Centre on the 8th and 9th of November.
Following a long hiatus from in person events, SAFCA understands the importance of collaboration and connectivity between community and industry, and this year's theme Bouncing Back is an apt description of our objectives.
The past 18 months has seen a 50% growth in SAFCA membership.
Remote, working from home situations have really highlighted the reduced engagement and the importance for collaborative discussions. The SAFCA Conference is the premier financial counselling conference in South Australia and brings together financial counsellors and financial capability workers from South Australia and The Northern Territory to engage with industry, legal representatives, government representatives, regulators, not for profits, ombudsman schemes, community sector workers and their teams, providing the opportunity to meet and engage in a face-to-face environment.
The Conference program spans two days covering a variety of topics and promotes a 'think tank' type event for all stakeholders in the financial counselling and hardship arena to collaborate towards combating systemic hardship and find pathways to assist our most vulnerable. The conference will be delivered in a COVID safe environment according to the rules and restrictions at the time of the event.
Held in the City Rooms of the ACC, SAFCA welcomes our new and returning conference partners . The conference offers a unique opportunity for financial counsellors to bring their burning questions and for our industry partners to gain greater insights into their customers facing hardship.
