Australian Pig Veterinarians Conference
Sunshine Coast
16 - 19 July 2023
Veterinarians that work with pigs make important contributions to society both locally and globally by ensuring sufficient levels of safe food are available, while maintaining the health and welfare of pigs. In addition, pig veterinarians are extending the scope and delivery of veterinary science by becoming involved in training programs for pig producers, quality assurance programs, and establishing and managing production systems and global disease prevention.
The annual APV conference is a fantastic opportunity to network with colleagues and offers practical professional development opportunities for pig vets from across the country. The conference will provide a combination of continuing education, networking and social events…..everything all in one great location on the Sunshine Coast.
Located on a pristine beachfront set amongst 36 hectares of natural bushland situated around a private beach-lined lagoon, Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort offers beautifully appointed accommodation. Novotel Twin Waters Resort is a 10-minute drive from Sunshine Coast Airport.
The APV Conference 2023 will be held on the Kabi Kabi peoples and Jinibara peoples land.
We respectfully acknowledge the Kabi Kabi people and Jinibara people as the traditional custodians of the Sunshine Coast region and recognise the continuation of culture, connection to lands, water and country. We pay our respects to leaders past and present.
