Perrelet's history dates back to 1777, when master watchmaker Abraham-Louis Perrelet introduced the first concept of an automatic movement.

The eponymous brand, based in Bienne and acquired in 2004 by Spanish entrepreneur Miguel Rodriguez, who also owns the Festina Group and a major watchmaking pole consisting of no fewer than six production facilities, has developed all its collections while remaining true to its heritage. Indeed, all Perrelet timepieces are equipped with in-house manufacture automatic calibres and are distinguished by their animated dials, thanks to the patented Dual Rotor and Turbine technologies, as a tribute to its founder, who was at the origin of the self-winding movement.
