Embracing the critical and timely theme, "Healthy Sheep to Feed and Clothe the World," our congress will shine a spotlight on the indispensable role of sheep health within the global ecosystem. Sheep are at the heart of sustainable practices for producing food and textiles, and by focusing on their health, we directly contribute to a more sustainable and resource-efficient world. 
 

From March 9 to 14 2025, we invite veterinarians, researchers, industry professionals and enthusiasts from across the globe to join us for a program focused on cutting edge sheep veterinary science.
 

The program is designed to cater to a diverse range of interests and specialisations within the field. Three program streams—intensive, extensive, and an eclectic mix encompassing academia, research, individual medicine, plus topics including goat and camelid veterinary medicine— guarantee that attendees find sessions that not only capture their interest but expand their knowledge and skills.
 

In addition to the main congress sessions, we are excited to offer pre and post-conference tours, which provide a unique lens through which to view the local sheep industry and Australia’s natural beauty. 
 

Additionally, our "paddock to plate" dinners and day tours on Friday, 15th March, promise to be memorable experiences, blending delicious local food with cultural and scenic tours of Wollongong and its surroundings.
