ABOUT THE
UPAV Conference

Welcome to the 2024 UPAV Annual Conference

25 - 27 November 2024 | Canberra Rex Hotel, Canberra City, ACT

In 2024 UPAV are teaming up with the Association of Avian Veterinarians, Australasian Committee (AAVAC) to bring you two back-to-back conferences, same state, same city and same venue!

This year UPAV we will host three days of high-quality education for veterinarians and vet nurses interested in birds, small mammals and reptiles. The conference has always been a great opportunity for networking as well as providing current information of diagnostics, therapeutics, surgery and medicine of this group of diverse pets.

We are excited and honoured to announce that Dr Doug Mader will be our International Keynote speaker in Canberra for our 2024 UPAV conference.

Lock the dates of 25-27 November into your diaries.

We can’t wait to welcome you all.

Canberra

Australia’s capital surrounded by forest, farmland and nature reserves has earned its nickname, the "Bush Capital.” The city's focal point is Lake Burley Griffin, filled with sailboats and kayaks. On the lakeshore is the massive, strikingly modern Parliament House, as well as museums including the National Gallery, known for its indigenous art collections.
