Student Scholarships

The Australian Pig Conference scholarship aims to provide an opportunity for up-and-coming pig veterinary students to attend our flag ship conference.

The 2025 APV annual conference brings together Australian pig veterinarians, pig researchers and industry partners for a two day event to share the latest research, clinical findings and industry updates. This is an opportunity for the successful scholars to continue their education and broaden their networking opportunities among pig veterinarians.

The scholarship includes:

1 x complimentary full registration to the 2025 Australian Pig Veterinarians Conference which includes:
- 1 x ticket to the welcome evening (Tuesday 14 October)
- Access to scientific sessions for the duration of the conference (15 & 16 October)
- Daily catering (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, 15 & 16 October)
- 1 x ticket to the conference dinner (Wednesday 15 October)
Return flights (if located interstate from Melbourne)
Accommodation at the conference hotel, Novotel Melbourne Preston
Australian Pig Veterinarians (APV) Special Interest Group (SIG) membership for the current financial year.

Student membership at the AVA is FREE.
