FCVic is delighted to announce that the theme of this year’s Conference is 'Sparking Change' — a powerful call to action that highlights the transformative role of financial counsellors, the broader community sector, and all sector stakeholders, committed to supporting individuals facing financial hardship.
This theme acknowledges that while change is often challenging, it is essential. Change can be sparked by policy shifts, frontline advocacy, innovative practices, or the lived experiences of clients. It demands courage, persistence, and collaboration.
As financial pressures continue to increase and the complexity of financial hardship evolves, the role of financial counsellors has never been more crucial — and it is more important than ever to support their work.
The Conferene program is still a work in progress but the blend of panel sessions and presentations will delve into the following important topics:
