The George Osborne Memorial Lectures are open to ACV members who are either current students or postgraduate members who graduated within the past 15 years and have not previously presented at an Australian Cattle Veterinarians conference.
These lectures are named in tribute to the late George Osborne, a distinguished veterinary educator and cattle veterinarian. He was renowned for his exceptional communication skills and his dedication to mentoring and inspiring young veterinarians to pursue careers in cattle practice.

Current ACV Members
Students or veterinarians up to 15 years from graduation
Have not presented at an ACV conference previously
We encourage engaging and informative presentations that contribute valuable insights to the field of cattle veterinary medicine.

The presentation must focus on a cattle medicine or science topic and should cover one of the following areas:
Research or trial outcomes
A case study of an intriguing case or cases
Innovative approaches to longstanding issues
Practical tips and tricks
Requirements of the conference presentation:
Duration: 20 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes allocated for Q&A
Format: PowerPoint presentation
Ensure it is well-formatted and easy to read
Use referenced graphics, images, videos, and figures appropriately
Include a declaration of interest
