Same amazing organisation, fresh new name!
For more information on the why behind the name change, head over to Our Story.
We have camps for all ages! We have Children's Camps, Teen Camps, Family Camps, and a variety of camps for adults (such as Be Transformed Young Adults Camp, Men's Muster, Nourish and Marriage Retreats). Check out our range of camps and register here.
Great question! All our camps value an authentic, fun, inclusive environment where the Gospel is presented freely and where all present are given the opportunity to grow in their faith and encounter the love and power of God.
We love to eat together, worship together, learn and grow together, and there is always a lot of time given for fun activites and space to get to know each other. Every camp has a different flavour and theme, decided by the camp organisers. The primary and secondary age camps will have greater structure than the late-teen and adult camps, however the overall emphasis really is on having a fun time together, growing in connection with God and others.
All our camps are competitively priced, and include all meals and accomodation (unless otherwise specified).
Individual camps will range in their prices. Check the Camps page for further details.
If finances are an issue, we have various sponsorships and payment plans available. Please contact our manager Amy to discuss options.
Life Camps Australia hold its camps and events at a range of locations around Victoria and beyond — head to the Camps page for more details about each camp.
Broadly speaking, we run camps in these common locations:
No, they don’t. Traditionally, our leaders stayed in the same cabins as campers, but as Child Safe standards have changed, we’ve updated our policies and procedures to comply. Ultimately, the safety of our campers is our highest priority, so adults don’t sleep in the cabins with campers. Instead, careful supervision rosters are developed for night times, and the location of leaders is clearly communicated to all campers, should they require assistance throughout the night. This is best practice for ensuring the safety of our campers and leaders, and meets our Child Safe obligations.
Once you complete a camp registration, you’ll be prompted to provide payment. Our new and improved system allows you to make payments with credit/debit card or through PayPal. Bank details are also provided, for direct deposits.
Ideally, you’ll pay at the time you register. If you’re not able to make a payment, or would like to ask about sponsorships or payment plans, please contact our Manager.
Yes, you can! In fact, we depend on donations and sponsorships. Your financial contributions assist us in creating opportunities for people of all ages to hear the Gospel and encounter the love of God. If you’d like to make a once-off donation, sponsor a camper or set up ongoing financial contributions to Life Camps, please head to the Donate page.
We don’t currently offer an internship, though we’ll be looking into this in the future.
We’re always in need of assistance in many areas of the organisation — from administration through to facilitating camps.
