Theme
One of the terms of reference for the Aged Care Royal Commission is to “deliver aged care services in a sustainable way, including through innovative models of care and increased use of technology.” At ITAC, we want to bring this to life for attendees. The aged care industry is facing demands to improve the level of care, whilst at the same time becoming more efficient. These two competing demands create a point of tension. Resolving this tension will come from innovative thinking done in a collaborative environment. Our question as a panel is how do we bring together aged care providers, industry leaders and innovators to provide the best possible care for the elderly and most vulnerable in our community?
