This year we are bringing the Australian Small Animal Veterinarians (ASAV) Annual Conference back to The Star Gold Coast. We will be joined by the Australian Reproduction Veterinarians. The conference will run from 7-10 August, headlined by international and local speakers in small animal and reproductive veterinary medicine.  It is anticipated to attract over 300 veterinary professionals all under one roof. 

This year's theme 'Gruel, guts and gonads' will focus on nutrition, gastrointestinal and all things reproduction.


You can also add an ultrasound workshop (pending ethics approval) and a nonclinical skills workshop to your CPD plans for the conference. Don’t forget to book a place at one or more of our signature social events too, such as the ASAV Awards Gala Dinner, the ASAV Recent Graduate Dinner and back by popular demand, the 'Eat Street' Dinner.


The Exhibition Welcome Drinks and the Farewell Party by the pool are also ever-popular choices for members who love to catch up with old friends and make new ones in a relaxing environment.  


With approximately 80% of all practicing veterinarians working in small animal-based hospitals and clinics, the ASAV Annual Conference exhibition provides industry partners with the opportunity to meet face-to-face with a large segment of veterinarians in Australia.
