Restricted to veterinarians only.

Practice Managers and Vet Nurses  
Practice Manager and Vet Nurses can join the Australian Veterinary Association to receive a member discount at AVA CPD conference.  

Carer’s Pass                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

We are delighted to announce we will once again provide a complimentary Carer’s Pass for delegates attending all AVA conferences and events. This will give the carer access to the conference, exhibition and sessions and allows parents/delegates nursing children to be provided with assistance. The pass does not include catering for carers. To request a pass please contact the Conference Secretariat; Dianne Minards. There is no need to register online. Your Carer’s Pass can be collected at the registration desk upon arrival.

International delegates who are members of the below Associations can attend at AVA member rates: 

• American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) 
• British Veterinary Association (BVA) 
• Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) 
• New Zealand Veterinary Association (NZVA) 
• South African Veterinary Association (SAVA) 

• China Veterinary Association (CVA)

All international delegates are required to supply their membership association and membership number at the time of registering. 

Working towards a sustainable conference   
As we work towards sustainability: 

• Sponsors and Exhibitors are requested to reflect positive environmental values and practices in their participation – we no longer accept paper satchel inserts. 
• We no longer offering conference satchels. 
  Program materials are provided electronically, via the website or Conference App.

All speakers and sessions were confirmed and correct at the time of printing. The AVA reserves the right to amend the program details as required. For program updates visit the ‘program’ page of the conference website.  The views and advice offered by speakers are their own views and may not represent those of the AVA. 

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing to the Conference Secretariat at events@ava.com.au by Monday 28 July 2025.  Cancellations received prior to this date will receive a full refund minus $150 administration fee. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded. Substitute delegates will be accepted.
