ABOUT THE SHEEP, CAMELID & GOAT SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP

The Sheep, Camelid and Goat Special Interest Group (SCGV) brings together veterinarians with an interest in small ruminant health, welfare and production. Members work across private practice, government, research, education and industry, supporting sheep, goat and camelid owners and producers throughout Australia.

SCGV members play an important role in advancing animal health and welfare, strengthening disease surveillance and supporting sustainable and productive livestock industries. The group provides opportunities for collaboration, professional development and continuing education, helping veterinarians share knowledge and remain connected with colleagues working across the sector.

Above all, SCGV is a welcoming and collegial community united by a shared passion for sheep, camelids and goats.
