The ACV Norbrook 'Buiatrician in Training' Award is our annual student award presented at each ACV Conference. This award is part work, part education, part fun – winners are the student helpers for the 2024 ACV Conference assisting with the conference running (from set-up through to bump-out), as well as having the opportunity to attend lectures and social events.
Three recipients will be selected by the ACV Committee. The winners are announced at the conference during the welcome and each presented with an ACV cap.
Applications are called for the 2024 ACV Norbrook 'Buiatrician in Training' Award to assist at the 2024 ACV Conference. The role is predominantly to assist at the event set-up, pull-down and general running (including night functions). There will be an opportunity to attend social events and lectures during the conference. You are being supported to assist at the event and will be unable to register for the pre-conference workshops as this is one of the major times of your duties. If selected, students are expected to be onsite in Wodonga on the evening of Sunday 17 March.
ACV greatly values the ongoing support of Norbrook for these awards.
3 nights complimentary shared accommodation in Wodonga.
Check-in 17 March and check-out 20 March.
Travel assistance to attend the conference as required.
Opportunities are available to ACV student members only.
Non-members can join before 21 January 2024 in order to be considered.
Winners of previous ACV awards (including this one) are ineligible to apply.
Winners will be notified by the ACV Office via your nominated email address once the ACV Executive Committee have selected the successful candidates.
The ACV Conference will be held on Wiradjuri country.
We respectfully acknowledge the Wiradjuri people as the traditional custodians of the Wodonga region and recognise the continuation of culture, and connection to lands, water and country.
We pay our respects to leaders past and present.
