Famous for its surf breaks, stunning beaches, theme parks, shopping, nightlife and hinterland, the Gold Coast is one of Australia's premier holiday destinations.

The region has 70 kilometres of uninterrupted coastline and is fringed by subtropical hinterland, including world heritage-listed national parks. Beyond the beaches and rainforests, discover laid-back neighbourhoods, a booming culinary scene and the Gold Coast's famous theme parks.

Map & further info

The official Gold Coast Visitor Map showcases the breadth of experiences available in our beachside city. The compact Z-Card format gives a visual layout of where everything lies on the Gold Coast, with handy tips on transport and local attractions.

Travelling to the Gold Coast

You can fly to Gold Coast Airport (OOL) or Brisbane Airport (BNE) with multiple flights daily from most domestic ports operated by Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Qantas. You'll find the Gold Coast Airport located at Bilinga on the Gold Coast's southern end approximately 1km from Coolangatta and approximately 25 kilometres from Surfers Paradise.

Getting from the airport to the Gold Coast

Door-to-door airport transfers are available via Con-X-Ion from both Gold Coast and Brisbane Airports. Passengers can book transfers at the Con-X-Ion Airport Desk or on their website.

An airport bus service also operates from Gold Coast Airport. Look for route 760 or 777 to reach Surfers Paradise in approximately 45 minutes.

From Brisbane Airport, a convenient way to transfer to the Gold Coast is using the Airtrain service. Trains depart regularly from the Brisbane Airport to the Gold Coast, where connections can be made from Airtrain stations via G:Link or bus connection.

You can also choose to transfer from both airports by taxis or Uber which area available outside the airport terminal entrance.
