2026 Pricing & Inclusions


 

AVA is launching a new membership model from 1 July 2026. The 51st ASAV Annual Conference - Together with VBG will be the second major conference under the new model, with eligible members able to access discounted ‘Event Advantage’ registration rates. 
 

For ASAV/VBG 2026:

  • Current ASAV/VBG/AVA financial members can register using ‘Event Advantage’ rates 

  • New graduates can register using New Graduate and 1–5 year Graduate rates 

  • Veterinary students can register using student rates 
     

Registering for the conference before 1 July and unsure which category to select? 

  • ASAV, VBG and AVA members can register using the Event Advantage rate

  • Other conference attendees can register using the ‘General registration’ rate

AVA’s new membership model

The new membership model, starting on 1 July 2026, introduces 3 membership tiers, all of which include access to all SIGs, including ASAV and VBG. The 3 membership tiers are:
 

  • All Access – eligible for discounted Event Advantage conference registration rates, plus access to clinical tools, webinars and additional benefits.

  • Flexi – eligible for General Registration conference rates. 

  • Connected – eligible for General Registration conference rates.

  • Non-members– Events continue to be open to all non-members to join us through General Registration conference rates.
     

Under the new model, ASAV, VBG and AVA will continue to support new graduates through dedicated conference rates and discounted membership fees during the first 5 years of practice.

Carer's Pass


We are delighted to announce we will once again provide a complimentary Carer’s Pass for delegates attending all AVA conferences and events. This will give the carer access to the conference, exhibition and sessions and allows parents/delegates nursing children to be provided with assistance. The pass does not include catering for carers. To request a pass please contact the Conference Secretariat; dianne.minards@ava.com.au. There is no need to register online. Your Carer’s Pass can be collected at the registration desk upon arrival.

All speakers and sessions were confirmed and correct at the time of publishing. The AVA reserves the right to amend the program details as required. For program updates visit the conference website.  The views and advice offered by speakers are their own views and may not represent those of the AVA.
 

Cancellation Policy

 
Cancellations must be received in writing to the Conference Secretariat at events@ava.com.au by Monday 20 July 2026.  Cancellations received prior to this date will receive a full refund minus $150 administration fee. Cancellations after this date will not be refunded. Substitute delegates will be accepted.
