The 1925 Brewing Co.

The 1925 Brewing Co. was founded in 2013 in Singapore, and remains proudly Singaporean till today. Founded by two brothers and their uncle, the company bears the birth year of their grandfather; a tribute to the first generation of Singaporeans, honouring the spirit and grit they embodied that helped build the country, with the hope of passing on the same torch to the later generations. All the beers we brew are inspired not only by our fondest memories whilst growing up, but also, what we hope to redefine as beers befitting the Asian palate. Being brewed proudly in Singapore, it is hardly surprising to find our beers featuring a plethora of Asian flora and herbs, and even with different styles of Asian teas. The beers are also brewed to pair well with Asian cuisines, which you can also experience at any of our outlets.

Bakery Brera

Bakery Brera offers freshly baked artisan breads (sourdough & pre-ferments, etc.) made with the best flours from France and Japan. We also serve a delectable range of viennoiseries and cakes made only with the finest ingredients. Today, Brera’s bakes have received many rave reviews from foodies all over the world for its Basque Burnt Cheesecake, our signature buttery Croissant, Kouign-amann and Cruffins, amongst other products. Brera has also supplied breads to top restaurants like The Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck and Burgerlabo. This Christmas season, we have customised a special menu to include traditional recipes that hail from Germany and Italy while not forgetting our highly sought Galette de Rois and Christollen.
A firm believer of serving with love, we count ourselves blessed to serve the Bread of Life according to our calling one bite at a time since we opened in 2016 as a humble bakery in the heartland.

Tanglin Gin

Tanglin Gin was founded in 2017 by Andy Hodgson, Charlie Van Eeden, Chris Box, and Tim Whitefield. By 2018, they had created Singapore’s first locally distilled gin - the Orchid Gin. Named after the national flower of Singapore, the Orchid Gin is a tribute to the rich multiculturalism of Singapore and the wonderful flavours that come from it. It contains classic gin botanicals such as juniper, liquorice, and angelica root, but also some Asian ingredients like vanilla orchid, java pepper, and amchoor. The result? A smooth, herbaceous gin with a wonderfully unexpected Asian twist.

The Whisky Store

The Whisky Store began in 2005 as a humble retail kiosk in Tanglin Mall run by escapees from the corporate world, Khoon Hui and Joyce. At that time, the Singaporean market lacked a dedicated whisky bar and through the dedicated pursuit of their passion for fine whisky, Khoon and Joyce opened a whisky bar one year later. Born in 2007, Quaich Bar was the first whisky concept bar in Singapore.

Today, The Whisky Store is much more than a kiosk. The group provides retail and wholesale of a very wide range of whiskies, many of which they hold in exclusive agency for in Singapore. These close relationships allow The Whisky Store to gain access to exclusive bottlings and casks that cannot be found anywhere else. Quaich Bar is still where it began in 2007, but now has a sister bar Quaich South Beach. And in 2018, a third bar and restaurant called Copper was opened. 2020 will see The Whisky Store venture into more new territory as we bring to you our first festival with a local, community focus, Whisky Journey.
